Did anyone really have a bad feeling of being denied but were approved anyway? What made you think you'd be denied?? Thanks!!

I was denied because my BMI was 35.1 and I didn't have one of three conditions my insurance company was looking for. I wrote two appeal letters, gattered letters of support from all of my doctors and was approved on the second go around, but I also ate during that time and raised my BMI to 37.6 by the time I was approved.

I did I really thought I would be denied.. but very happy I was approved :redface:

I too thought I'd be denied, my bmi was 37 and I have no co-morbidity. However, no one ever gave it a second glace, everything went through just fine, from my doctor to the insurance to the surgeon. Almost too easy, I kept waiting for something to mess it up!
