I am so excited to be posting here. Just got my band this past Friday, June 27th. I'm having trouble trying to figure out how much to drink. Can't seem to fill up. Any suggestions from anyone?:lol::P

im excited for you! how do you feel? im still waiting for my insurance to go through. what do u mean u cant fill up? meaning you're not getting full from drinking? well if thats the case your doctor should have u on protein shakes anyway right after surgery but if ur not taking them-start now because they will fill u n give ur body what it needs...other than that i cnt think of anything u could have to fill u tht woruldnt hurt u-sorry. good luck!!!!!!! post soon

I was banded on June 25th. I just sip all day long. I don't really have meals - hope this isn't getting me into bad habits. I am on clear liquids plus protein shakes. I have a 20 oz shake, 12 oz coffee, and 24 oz protein water beside me right now and I will probably still be sipping these same things when I leave work this evening plus throw in 8 oz broth and some jello and a popsicle and about 20 oz water and that will be my day and night (I drink the water in the night when I wake up with my stomach growling).

Good luck!

Hey girls, thanks. Brown Bear, that's about what I'm doing, sipping all day long. I do drink Slim Fast and Instant Breakfast, have jello, cream of wheat, pudding, soups. I'm getting the idea. This is great!
