I got protein from our local fitness store. It has 23g and is very reasonable. It taste pretty good. I bought one at Wal-Mart that was to sweet. I didn't like it, but I am finishing it so it won't be wasted.

The Magic Bullet is a mini blender. It is a wonderdully convenient and easy to use system. You can blend up an individual sized protein shake- blend it up and drink it from the same cup. It comes with 2 different syle blades- one better for ice and another one good for blending up just about anything. It also comes with different sized cups you can use for different occasions. I absolutely LOVE mine.

Hi Megan,

I've been on Protein shakes off and on for years before I got my band. The best tasting, and best balanced nutritionally that I have found is HMR. I only order the vanilla, because I make that any flavor I want with sugar free Italian Syrups. But Every product I have tried from this company has been outstanding. Go to: HMR, Health Management Resources | Hackley Health Management

I also drink Slim Fast Low Carb. I only like the chocolate and it has 20g of protein and 2 carbs. I have found it in Walmart in the pharmacy section, they will often have two different aisles with slim-fast. I've found the Low Carb on the aisle with the vitamins, weight loss medication and appetite suppressants. It's rather expensive at $6.99 for 4. I normally buy it at Sam's $18 for 15 cans. I hope they never stop making it. It's the only protein supplement I can drink. I have a problem with textures...can't do powders, added fruits, etc.
Thx for the info I'll check it out.

Even though I'm well past my liquid diet phase, I have the same delicious protein shake for breakfast every morning: 1 can of Slimfast Optima French Vanilla (Low Carb); 1 banana; three heaping tablespoons of whey protein powder; two tablespoons of powdered peanut butter, and this is key: one large pinch of coarse salt. I keep the blender container and banana in the freezer, and put the SFO in the freezer about half an hour before I'm going to make it - this way I get an icy cold shake with the density of a soda fountain shake. It's DELICIOUS.

i buy a protein mix from walmart comes in vanilla i mix half bananna 2 strawberrys with skim milk i also have had it mixed with peanut better yogert blueberries cinnimon nutmeg ginger and they all taste really good i also am kinda hooked on atkikns ready ;made protein mix i usually mix that with a carnation pack of instant breakfast and pour over ice and bam thats really good good luck to you.
