Changing to Oxford as of 7/1

Question for the group..... I am changing to Oxford PPO Freedom plan as of July 1st...According to a friend they cover the procedure with no precertification or referrals required....How long should I wait to call the doctor to schedule my first visit....I'm thinking 9am :cursing:

I am on that plan and yes, it is the easiest of any that I have heard of. Some people have tons of hassles with their insurance. All I had to do was have a BMI over 40 and then everything else just went right along. I have my first visit with the doc November 9, 2007 and by time I finished all the testing and classes my surgery was Jan 2008. I was approved in December but wanted to wait until after Christmas. Best of luck to you.
