2 Months Banded in CT, disgusted with Self

Greetings all! I was banded on March 18, 2008. I immediately gained 6lbs back after. (I had lost 15 on the liquid diet before). I have since managed to lose the 6 I had gained plus 7 more. I am not saying that is a bad amount, but I have not managed to shed the bad habits in spite of the opportunity I have received and I am thoroughly disgusted with myself. Anybody else going through this?

Hope to hear!!

I am. I feel my habits are starting to return. I also find myself eating just because, like before. I am so afraid i am going to hurt myself in the process with a complication of some kind with the band. I'm not sure how to get out of this rut, i do feel your pain.

Have you had any fills yet? If not you won't feel much restriction. Once you get to the "sweet spot" your restriction will not allow you to be crazy with food. One thing you have to keep in your head, this is only a tool. You get out of the band what you put into it. I've not lost anything in the past few months, staying the same, yet I'd like to lose another 20 - 40 lbs. Will it happen? I don't know, depends totally on me.
