Don't remember if I mentioned but a week or so after the wedding poor DH has to go to Honolulu for work. Well he sure ain't going alone! Free hotel room? Yep I am tagging along, will be nice to just destress after the wedding and before moving. I've asked a friend from here to go along, her husband works for a different airline but she flies free as well so we may just have a girls trip and take over DH's room! LOL I've not been to Hawaii in over 5 yrs (used to go much more frequent) and definitely not since losing weight. New body and new knees, look out Waikiki!

Wow!!!! Sounds like a good time. I just loved our trip, and so many buses to take you anywhere you want to go. We almost rented a car and glad we didn't. It was 25 bucks a day for parking. I guess DH gets his paid for since it is business. Where are you staying?

Hi everyone! Jeez, I don't check in for a few days and there's 5 pages! I did some quick skimming...Janet, I hope your work situation gets better soon. I know how frustrating that can be.

I'm not looking forward to my tax stuff...yikes, I hope I don't turn to the Hagen-Daz.

Just got back from my second Zumba class. I love it, but it's really a workout! Talk about sweating! It's so much fun though, and the people where I go are so nice. I was very sore afterwards though. My knees were aching, but I think it's ok to work through it. I'm going to go 3 to 4 times a week. I'm hoping it'll jumpstart some continued weight loss. And I also noticed it really improves my mood. What with spring coming and me feeling feisty, things are looking up!

Also got a fill yesterday and it seems to be helping with the pigging-out I've been doing. And on the doctor's scale I'm officially down 60 lbs! Whoopee! Only lost 4 lbs in a month, though...that's not bad (I won't sneer at 4 lbs!), but I know my bingeing didn't help.

I like the Marriott Waikiki so hopefully there. We never rent a car when we go, just take a taxi and I just want to chill by the beach or pool so no need for further transportation really other than my new knees and walking. DH won't rent a car either.

Deb, Congrats on the 60 lbs. Way to go.

I love going to zumba too, I have been going 2 times a week. That is all that they are offering it here. It does improve your mood. Seems like I hear that lating music and I just start moving and a grooving...

How in the heck am I suppose to catch up !!! lol

LauraK - wtg 75 lbd in 7 months - girl you are doing fantastic..

Deb - 4 lbs in a month is good girl - I am going to kick your butt - it's 4 lbs lost not gained !!!!

I haven't not been posting cuz of you guys being so good - where's Linda she hasn't posted in a while

Apples I must have skimmed so fast I missed the shopping spree - glad you had fun - Support group - well they are jealous -

Oh guess what the food cop did today that pissed alot of pple off - especially our controller !!! We have a guy who was in the hospital for 2 days for testing - he has diabites - well I threw out the donut in his desk - then I went and threw away the left over Cookies in the lunch room!!! Told one person to quit bringing their costco left overs to work - it's always cakes candy etc..

Well the controller came and asked where the cookies were - I said I threw them away (there was like 8 cookies left) she was PISSED - she has diabites too and said she needed to bring her blood sugar up - well she has ton's of candy in her office - and it's better to eat Jerky than sweets (per my x bf doc)..

Well I am her shit list - on my bosses shit list too - he wanted one too and there were none to be had..

Yes I got carried away - pple do have to make their own decisions - but hell - 98% of the pple in the office are overweight... I get sick of seeing pple eating cookies cake and candy like there is no tomorrow - pple are killing themselves... So next time I will just do what I did before - just throw a few away every time I go in the lunch room and not tell anyone !!!!

Guess I will have to take some cookies to work on Monday to make them happy...

Well Walgreens called my xanax is ready to be picked up - It had no refills but I called it in (got 60 on 6/24/09) and I now have 4 - so I guess the Dr ok'd refill since it's been 9 months since I got the script - that 6 pills a month - so they can see I am not addicted to them..

Well work isn't much better in fact took on another active bonding account - cuz 1 girl gave her notice and her team mate is taking over her desk and I know more about bonds that she does - and oh ya here is some news - instead of 26 furlough days - we have 12 - it's been cut to 1 day a month starting April.. That also means we will get back like 1 vacation day..

Like I said we are going out to dinner again tonite - but Andrew didn't want another fancy restaurant - but something like Red Robin - I hate those places - I am not a salad person at restaurant cuz hell they have just as many calories as a hamburger most of the time - I still have a lamb chop left from last night (took one for lunch today) I rather go to a steak house where I can get good Protein - Red Robin is one step above fast food imho..

I go 3/26 for my taxes - since I am single head of house hold (the best tax bracket) I am not too concerned..

Well Andrew's home - gotta see what's up - cbl

love to you all

Janet,

I lost 25 lbs between my 1st consult and surgery day, so I got a head start on the process. They told us in a seminar that you had to lose 5% of your weight to show you could. Apparently I was the only one who listened because no one else I have talked to did it. I meant business!

Ok you ladies all need a lash with a wet noodle waiting so long. My taxes were done in Feb (heck I think I spent the return well part of it) and I have done 8 other peoples since that time with only 1 more to do when they get me their stuff. I told you ladies I was warped. I took a H & R Block class to learn how, just for fun. Get on it, the relief when it's behind you will be wonderful. lol

Janet is the food cop so I'll be the tax cop.

Toyota RAV-4--love it!

Noodle beating coming my way! BUT I did clean the house (parts of it).

Julie (and those of you who think singlehood would be good), had a date tonight. Cheesecake Factory--had chicken and did not have to leave the table! But the man talks "me, me, mine, my, myself, and I, more me, some more about me, mine, I, etc. etc." I was bored.

I felt like I was with someone's older boring brother. There was nothing that made me feel that he was happy to be with me. I guess that might have meant he would have to change to subject from him to someone other than him.

Even tho I got a nice dinner, I would rather have been home with my dog.

Did I make you laugh? If so, good; that would have been a first for tonight.

Sounds familar, last time I met someone for coffee that is all he did too. Talked to him online a bit, should have stayed online. Man was weird.

Back from Red Robin - it's like a Denny's I guess - well they don't have Breakfast - hamburger - Pasta - salads - Not my kind of restaurant - not even before banding - OMG I was going to order appetizer quesidilla - till I saw the nutritional value 1117 it serves 3 = 372 and something like that I could have eaten about half that's 744 cal - so had a lettuce wrap hamburger which I ate 1/4 of just the burger (dry) and 3/4 of a cheese stick - I forgot what those calories were - not a healthy place to eat - but the good thing is I can have some cake for dessert later :0)

Judy - I know you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find a prince - But I just don't want to go to the trouble to kiss all those frogs.. So I am the only single one who isn't looking and have no desire too - I am happy just as I am me and my dogs & cat and all my girls on lbt :0)

Laura - I have to wait till the accountant does my k1 - and they send us letters w/appointment date - I will most likely be getting $$$ back (have for the last couple yrs) but when I do have to pay - the way I think about it -wait til 4/14 - why pay Uncle Sam before you have to :0) If it wasn't for the K1 I would most likely do my own taxes - turbo tax is great - but I don't know the 1st thing about k1 - deprecation etc - so I pay to have my account do it - if it was just my salary - I would do my own

jbflorida - sorry about the dull, selfish date. I did laugh with comment the dog would have been better.

Well - I'm proud to have now gone to 3 movies without popcorn.

Didn't think I could do it.

Snow is starting. yuk

Janet, I love Red Robin. I rarely go though. I get a plain burger with no bun and eat about half of it and bring the rest home. Forget the fries though. I take my Grandma there once in awhile as she likes their hamburgers.

Joyce, you must be getting our snow, it's slowing down here. Sun is supposed to shine tomorrow. Hopefully the roads clear off quick.

Great - Andrew loves their buffalo wings - that's why we went - and I got the lettuce hamburger ;0) w/side salad - 430 cal and I don't know if that included Salad Dressing - but when you read the nutritional menu - omg it will freak you out..

After 3/4 of the cheese stick - I could only eat 1/4 of just the patty - but if I am going out to eat I rather have mexican or chineese - or a nice restaurant like last night :0)

I still have a lamb chop in the fridge - that would have been better than hamburger :0)

Hugs to all you with snow - it's 80-90 here - sunny - I have had to turn on the a/c...

I had my taxes done on 2-2 and e-filed on 2-4......However I recently wondered why I hadn't seen out refund yet, so went to IRS.gov to check... Came back with a problem... Called the "old Boss" who does my taxes.. and he was confused as he had not had a notification that there was a problem... But he found it, fixed it and should have the refund soon.... As a retired accountant, I always used to do our own taxes, but after we went into multiple businesses I decided to get some help.. I do all the paperwork, but let him do the depreciation and such... I've been away too long to have kept up with all the tax law changes.... Still do DD's and any easy ones.....

We went to our fish fry... had a nice supper with friends... came home and read a good book... Mimi came at 9:30 for until 11:00 while DD went for a drink with a friend... She left and all of a sudden my shoulder started again.... I'm now in pain.... trying not to cry..... yet!!! Damn it...... Waiting for the pain pills to kick in.....

DH wants to go to Bismarck shopping for building supplies tomorrow... Not big on my list of fun things, but will go anyway...

Lori, hope you find the right vehicle for you... I like my car..... We have a pick-up for bad weather, but the mpg is so much better with my car.....

Judy, sorry that guy is a dud..... maybe next time.. At least you are putting an effort into being open to a new relationship... that's a positive step..... the next one may be the prince you're looking for.....

congrats to all you girls with losses.... None for me really... but I keep getting compliments on how good I lookd... Told DH it must be because I don't look sick anymore...

Well, need to go try to distract this pain... Talk to you guys tomorrow... Sweet dreams..... Julie

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
