I wasn't crying cuz of the delay - but in telling her about my sister's condition - I wouldn't cry cuz of a plane delay lol and it was only 1/2 hr.. I called in to say I would be later than I thought but in telling gf about my sis I started crying.. It was a good visit - but may be the last time I see her - we just don't know...

Awww, Janet....whether it be crying for a plane delay or you just needing a good cry about your sis, we're here for you. I thought it was pure frustration:cursing: and trying to get to work in time but understand why you would cry leaving your sister. Hugs:wub:

Add me to the crying today.:hi::) Just got home from taking DS to airport. Actually we met DH for lunch at a place called Crown Burger downtown and then swapped there and DS went back to airport with DH. I was so sad and just happened to be downtown so a little retail therapy was in order. Since moving here I just don't have good access to a Loft store so off I went. I spent WAY to much but got 2 overflowing bags of new stuff. But, alas, I am still sad. We had a great visit though. He loved the Cabelas store and actually went there 3 times. Once to just look, next to buy and did lots of Christmas shopping and then this morning to go back and look for something he forgot about.

I am sorry I am behind in keeping up here. I think of you all often and try and keep up. I did see a post from Joyce on FB that she was on her way to Narita, Japan so she's almost to Guam by now.

Add me to the list of those feeling funky, I have a sore neck thing going on too, no fever though.

Julie, great pics of the wedding.

I love the pics pf the wedding it looked so beautiful and you did as well.

Too cute a quarter never would thought of that costumn.

Well everyone I am hanging in there. I think I am going to journal at work when I have a very bad day then maybe I won't eat. Sat I took my soon to see some up and coming wrestlers and so wrestlers when I was younger like Lex Luger. He did not look good but he signed my sons collectable card. I also say Reid Flair Rick Flair son he is too cute. I think he is in in 20's. All in all hanging in and getting things done.

Great....sorry about your crying jag....it's tough, isn't it? Every time I left my youngest at the airport, I was unsure of how many months it would be till I saw him again.

I had that sore neck thing on Friday and Sunday. It's so weird cuz you think it's the crud and then you don't feel real horrible but then the little fever pops up. Take care and get some rest. Would love to see some of your Loft clothes.

OK, Laura...I will try to do the recap for you. Sorry we were lax when you asked for it a couple of days ago. I just have to think of how far to go back.

Melissa....have not heard from here for a couple of weeks about how things are going...hope good.

Joyce is on her way to Guam to visit her family and GK's. She had a very stressful couple of weeks prior to leaving and hoping that she can take this time to blow off everything at home and just relax and have fun. She shared photos of the resort she will be staying at. If she cannot relax in that place, she just plain does not know how to relax. LOL

Great...our happy wanderer....has been to the east coast to see the turning leaves with her DD, MIL, FIL and DH. Then to Hawaii, CO and to FL to visit her folks. And happy to inform you that her trip went great with folks. She then went somewhere else in the world...can't remember. This last weekend spent with DS at her home and Christmas shopping. She's now sitting in her chair with her lab's head in her lap (she's sobbing).

Janet...found out her sis was in the hospital last week and hopped a plane to go visit her over the weekend. Nice visit and hard to leave her....as she stated "You never know". Tough stuff.

Arlene is our trooper. FM and other pain from the wether change but still going to exercise, etc. She's struggling with hunger and thinks she needs a fill and is going for one this week. If you have time, check her GK photos..cute.

Julie...busy with wedding since getting home from Vegas. She posted photos on the thread today. Worth a look. Impressive and kids are so darned cute.

Jodi....I can even begin to give you a recap on our Jodi. Throw a couple of Jewish holidays in there that I cannot even pronounce and I'm lost...(joshing, Jodi)...love ya and you explaining your customs...honest.

Anyway...Jodi has been struggling this last week with too much fill and is going for a small unfill. She interviewed for a new job and (I think) decided to stay in the one she has.

Our Phyll has been sick with the crud for just about a week now. I think Facebook post said she kicked it. She also had MRI and had an appt with her specialist. Her DH sailed through his surgery and she got to practice nursing for a couple of days again.

Eva....gotta go back and see her photos of her vacation. She picked up a new job (working from home) the same week she got back. Brutal, Eva....but I am thinking this job is going to be her thing.

LauraK...she has the crud...damn the crud.

Jessica...our pride and joy...getting good grades, invited to join the Honor Society, raising funds for her son's school. What a girl!

Cheri....teaching, redoing her scheduling and work so that it is less stress. But, getting new students so hoping she can protect her new schedule. But knowing Cheri, she will not turn a student away. Cheri got back down to her comfort zone after gaining a couple of lbs. She struggles with tightness when she gains but think she now has a handle on what is going to work for her.

TX...flew through LB and shoulder surgery. Had a bout with mega-pain but think he is doing better.

Judy...had a bday over the weekend but we have not heard from her for awhile. Busy with play.

I know I am forgetting some...will pop back on if I remember

Melissa....have not heard from here for a couple of weeks about how things are going...hope good.

Apples - I am hanging in there. I think I am going to journal at work when I have a very bad day then maybe I won't eat. We all know my feelings on exercise it used to be fun for me when I got to work with a trainer and got to box and he used to beat me up, or basically work my but off I hated it when I was doing it and bitched the whole way he would laugh but keep pushing me. But I can't pay for that right now. I have to do it on my own. My BFF and I will start going to the pool this week and work out together. (We were supposed to start last week but it did not work out)

Why is it when you work so hard then you get smacked in the face with all the goodies you should not eat. All your friends, family keep wanting you to do great but keep feeding or bringing stuff in the house you should not have. WTF is that and then they complain about your health and lifestyle when they catch you eating junk.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
