Some of you have asked for progress pics, and since I never do anything in a small way, I thought I'd go big and bare it all (almost). Keep in mind that in January, you could not have paid me a million bucks to even put on a swimsuit, much less be in the same zip code with a camera while wearing one, so this took a lot of courage for me. HA HA HA... I don't mess around where pictures are involved... I have friends that wait months to post theirs... and it bugs the hell out of me. LOL. Sorry I looked like total crap at lunch.. I was just so exhausted and didn't get much sleep last night. Stayed up till almost 2 finishing that Twilight book and then all my clothes are getting too big for me and I'm in that "tween" size where I'm not quite a 20/22 but the 24's are too big on me.. though I did squeeze into a size 20 jeans amazingly.. anyway, I'm rambling.. you were all done up and I looked like trash with my hair thrown up in a clip. lol.

Crystal is trying to make it sound like she looked like yesterday's garbage - SHE DIDN'T! She is a very beautiful woman. And so friendly and outgoing. I wish we'd had more than an hour to get acquainted.

Hey Kjeter! :biggrin2: Yes, I figured Crystal would be very outgoing since she does the Medieval festivals! I go to the ones here in Oklahoma and they are full of happy go lucky, friendly people! As far as her looks..she is gorgeous as well, I love her picture she has posted with her costume on! Both of you young ladies are the 9's! I would love to meet the both of you! That's funny that ya'll say that.. when I saw my avatar pic next to Kjeter's pic I thought we looked like sisters or something, though she is WAYYY thinner than myself.. ha ha.. she looked like a model in this cute little outfit! trust me, my bodice pic is deceiving, those suckers take off at least 2 inches.

We should all totally hook up Queen of Hearts! that would be so much fun. I live in Lewisville which isn't far from Carrollton at all. My hubby works there actually. And where we met for lunch today is probably 10 minutes from Carrollton..

And, I know I didn't look like yesterday's garbage, but I just hate my hair up.. I like it down and I couldn't find anything that fit me this morning. I need new clothes. I felt sloppy.. that's the word.. sloppy.. lol.

Oh and trust me, I was holding back at lunch. Normally I'm loud, silly, goofy, and the jokester, but I figured on our first meeting I would be calm and civilized. lol.

No need to be calm and civilized with me. I think my work clothes must be deceiving. I'm really the kind of chick that sits on the floor and plays with the dogs instead of hanging out with the "ladies." Civilized is no fun! Better to raise as much hell as possible.

What a hoot! LOL! You girls are acting like sisters now! :huh2: Yep I think it would be great meeting both of you! I go through Lewisville on my way to Carrollton so that wouldn't be a problem. I've been down there enough to where I'm actually getting used to all those dang freeways crossing every which way and how high are they going to keep building them anyway?? Yes..I know how those bodices kinda tighten up and flatten out! HA! Poor women back in those days but I love the outfits! We certainly would probably be the loudest group of women when we do meet! I'm very laid back and not to civilized either..I am old enough now to know when you have the opportunity to laugh and enjoy life than take it all in! Not to hold anything back! We'll have to meet for sure! Don't worry about how you dress..dress comfortably..that's what I do! :biggrin2: Looking forward to it! We'll have a blast..what's really weird is no one will be able to guess we will have just met!!

He actually is a rennie and attends faire as well, so when I got there we chit chatted a little bit and told him the situation so he didn't want to bother us too much. total sweetie.
