Hi,

Does anyone have info on a fill Dr. in the GR area? I had my surgery in Mexico and have made a couple of calls. Everyone so far says no fills for Mexico lap bands. I would love to go back to my Dr. in Mexico for all my fills but the flights just keep going higher and higher with the gas prices :biggrin: and fewer flights I better find a way to stay closer to home.

I can help ! ! I too was banded in Mexico and I know what you are going thru trying to find a fill doctor. I got on line and made a list and called every bariatric dr in a hundred mile radius, including Grd. Rpds. I live in Livingston County but my daughter and grandbabies live in Allendale. Kalamazoo will do outside fills and so will Barix (I think). They are in Holland. I was going to go there but I found someone closer and cheaper. I have posted it somewhere here so I'll try to find it and will post the info.

Consultation is $100.00/if fill done on same day it is $250. additional fills are $200.00

Holland - I couldn't find that info but I think it is Barix. check the yellow pages. they are the only bariatric drs in the area that will do fills on outside patients.

I was thinking of going to the fill center in Troy but Kalamazoo is only an hour away and my daughter lives in Mattawan so I could visit (just not for lunch! hehehe) How long have you had your band? How is it going? I am so glad I had this done but I hope the fills don't create an unpleasant experience for me.
