glad to be here, I love the idea we have are own group! I was just banded on Mar26,08 and going for my first fill on May7, I've lost 17 lbs and am thrilled. I live in Northern Az (flagstaff). I will be back after my fill. Wish me luck!

Katie: Hi and welcome. I am 64 about to turn 65 and have had the band over a year, loving it more and more. Anyone can lose weight but the keeping it off is another thing. My band is helping me lose steadily and if I "forget" my healthy eating, it brings me up short very quickly. I love this site too.

hi.. you live in North Van! I live in Chilliwack and am going to a Dr. in Delta... Dr. Woodhead.. I am so excited to be having it done locally... I lost this thread "60's" and could not find my way back to it so glad you sent me an email response.... I clicked andclicked and could not get back to the "60's" group..... I think we are special.. as are the plus 70's of course... but sure am looking forward to this.. Have been on every diet ever made and now with osteoarthritis. cannot do exercise so this is the only thing and I know it will work... I am so exicted for next friday,......
