You should look on the internet to see what doctors in this field are available close to you. Then just call their office and ask. I found a fill doctor that way, although I was banded in Mexico. I know some doctors don't want to see patients who didn't go to them from the get-go, but others will.

Dr. Mark Pleatman is in the Detroit suburbs. Cost for removal is comparable to Mexican doc (quoted $5,000). For Dr. Pleatman, my cost was $2,200 for him (includes office visit and surgery), $3,300 to the hospital (Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital) and $300 to the anesthesia group.
