I'm south of Rochester, but I'm signed up for a seminiar there in June as it's my closest hospital that does the surgery.

Do you have a doctor yet?

Hi there! I am going through the pre-banding process right now :) I am so nervous/excited. Are you trying to decide whether to get banded or are you in the process that I am?

I am having mine at highand hospital and have finshed my psych, 2nd nutrition, just have to finish my last nutrition appt and i can schedule!

I was banded Apr 8th w/Dr DiBeneditto at RGH. Stay away from Highland if you want to live. RGH stay was great and I've lost 20 pounds since surgery.

I've done very well at Highland Hospital, Rochester, NY. They have been great. I've lost 82 pounds. Good luck.

Hi,

I am also from rochester!! My surgery is scheduled for May 27th with Dr. Dibenedetto at RGH. I have been going through this process for 3 years(research incl.) I initially started with another surgeon but decided not to go through with it due to lack of customer/patient service. My surgeon, in my opinion, is the best!!! Not only is he knowledgeable about lap band, his team is AWESOME!!!!! I've never been worried about the actual surgery, it's what kind of follow up from the surgeon that scared me. But, I believe with dr. d's team, i will be well taken care of. Good luck to you on your Quest.
