New at this and alot of questions

I definitely need to do something about my weight - tried everything - had bi-lateral knee replacement 4+ yrs ago - and the weight that I am packing isnt helping the knees at all. I am in the St. Louis area, any recommendations on a Dr? I will be self pay - as my insurance doesnt cover WLS - but I am going to check with them. Just wondering if anyone out there has had lapband after a knee replacement? Thanks - this forum is awesome, reminds me of the one I found when I was researching knee replacements. Love it - Thanks!

I was banded by Brad Watkins, MD. He has an office in Oak Brook, IL, Synchrony Health, which is a ways from you, but he is a great surgeon! He has a wonderful bedside manner and is very soothing and honest.

Good Luck!
