yep-I m 6 months out and am a walking gas bag!

I had my surgery on 4/2. I have had some burping but have really had more gas......probably from the stool softener.

I was Banded on the 27 of march 2008 and now that I am back at work I have a sharp pain under my right side of my ribs. At first I thought that I pushed myself to hard but at also felt like gas. The pain goes away after 20 minutes or so. Have anyone else had this problem.:confused2::confused2::confused2:

Hey - I'm a montgomery girl from NWWLS, as well! And yes - I was a big ball of gassy-ness for the first week and a half after surgery. Milk of Magnesia (MOM) helped a lot but walking was what really allowed the gas to "break on through".

I was banded in Sept of last year. I remember being surprised by the gas. I remember it being pretty extreme at first and settling down. I belch allot today but if I don't blend stuff and mix air into the food. I don't gulp when I eat and I eat slowly, this problem decreased. Good luck.
