Hi Guys, I know the snow is coming Tues night of course:thumbdown: my surgery is Wednesday morning!!!

My sister is coming over and we will call a plow if we need to just to get to the hospital:tongue2: and we even offered to pick up the doc...LOL

Still nervous but got so much to do that I shouldn't have too much time to think. Off to work... got my list of things to take to the hospital.

Jean good luck with your surgery this week!!!!! keep busy the best you can before, I know easier said than done.

you are so lucky to have your banded sister as a support person.

Jay you crack me up with the 24 hr notice. the pre-op consult is mostly and interview/general exam to review your meds and check out your general health for the surgery.

they never gave me the soap either time..... I feel kinda left out. :(

Good luck, Jean!! Keep us posted on how things go. Hope to see you at the next meeting! :cursing:

Good luck jean! Thanks for the info on the pre-op, I had mine this morning, they took blood asked me some questions, gave me some soap to use 3 days before and sent me on my way!

I'm sure everything will go great for you!

Thanks Guys,

Trying to get the everything on my list ready to go with me.

Still nervous but never had any surgery before so nothing to do with the band. You all helped with those questions.

But here comes a new start...

Will give you guys update after surgery.:(

The Faulkner is usually the week before, but on Mondays....only holidays might change this...

Hi Everyone - I am

Surgery done Wednesday, home from hospital next day, all went well, everyone was great . A little sore but nothing I wasn't expecting.

I will check in with you later, I need a nap.

Jean:sleep:

Great to hear you're doing well Jean!

When you went in did you have to do your insurance co-pay at the time of admission? That is, if you have a co-pay

Thanks for all the good wishes... I had co-pays at the appointments but none at the time of admission. And that was a good thing since I didn't have any money with me at the hospital:blushing:

Out and walking daily, just have to be careful as the meds make me loopy////

I am off for a little cat nap!

Jean

Hey everyone!!! I am sooo behind on the posts. I haven't been getting my email notifications????? Anyway, I gotta go back & read when I can.

I went for a fill last week but Dr Vernon didn't think I needed one. I think she was right. I lost 8 pounds since the last time I had seen her!!!!!! It was about 1 month. So, I was VERY happy! I still have good restriction & haven't had a fill since DEC, 22nd.

HAPPY!!! HAPPY!! HAPPY!! LOL!!!

Down 33 LBS total. I'm going to join the gym soon too. I really need to SWEAT. I need it for the plysical & mental. Hope your all well!!!!

Jean, glad to hear your surgery went well and you are feeling pretty good!

Jay, when is your surgery again? How are things going for you?

Heidi, glad to see you lost 8lbs. Way to go!

I'm still anxiously waiting my first appt. the end of this month.

Hope everyone else is doing well )
