BMI of 35 with Type II diabetes

Hi, I am new to this forum. My BMI is 35. I have Type II diabetes, high blood pressure and triglycerides. In fact the lastest results of my blood test showed my triglycerides at over 5000! The doctor said they are so high because of my diabetes. Do you think I could get approved for the surgery?

    Call your ins co. ( the number is on the back of your card) and ask them if bariatric surgery is a covered procedure. If they say yes, ask them what requirements they have.
