Questions from others while eating out!

It seems every time I go out to eat now I always get asked questions like

Was there somthing wrong with the food? Is everything OK etc... My husband and I even had a manager come over and ask if there was somthing wrong when the waitress notices I hadn't ate much.

I have started saying I'm just not that hungry and I need a box.

I guess it's better then them looking at me and thinking "I can't believe she ate that much!

Anyone else with similar experiences? How have you handled it?

Some restaurants will allow 1/2 portions, if you request them. But even 1/2 portions gives me an extra meal to take home most of the time.

Usually I ask for a take out box as soon as the waitress brings my food. That way there really are no questions. If someone does ask, I say "I had surgery and can't eat very much". Everyone I know knows about my surgery. They are always amazed at how little I eat. I guess after 2 years, I am just used to the questions. Try not to get too stressed about it. Rejoice in the fact that you are losing weight, no matter how it is accomplished.
