Having my port replaced and just found out my band slipped!

I was banded over 4 years ago and lost a considerable amount of weight. When I had my lap-band procedure the low profile port wasn't being used and I received the standard port. My port has been sticking out of my belly and was really annoying. I scheduled a port replacement and was supposed to have it today. It was supposed to be a same day procedure. I received a phone call from my doctor Friday that my esophogram showed that I have band slippage!! I always thought I was really lucky that I never had any complications with my band but I guess I can join the club now . My doctor rescheduled my surgery for the 4th and I'll have to stay over night so she can fix the slippage and replace the port. I really hope it never slips again. I've been pretty careful about my diet and I don't understand what I could have done to make the band slip.
