I'm new from the Pacific Northwest!

Hi, I was banded on 12/28/07 and just signed up to LapBankTalk.com hoping to meet some local bandsters and more importantly read some experiences and get additional insperation! I was a self pay patient, my insurance ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT cover anything related to it. I am hoping that will give me even more motivation to continue this journey. I am just now getting into eating more solid foods and trying more things. I've lost 15 pounds so far and have my first fill on the 24th, which I'm getting a bit nervous about.

Hi, I live in SeaTAC, and scheduled for lapband on March 18th, at St Francis, Federal Way, with Dr. Oh? Any chance he was your surgeon?

I got banded on 1/23/08......at Northwest Weight Loss in Everett, WA. So far so good, I'm tired of the liquids and puree's. Ugh. Ready to get on with it. I'm going back to work tomorrow and will be attending a live support group in Everett, WA on February 11th. I'm looking forward to that.

I live in Shelton, just outside of Olympia. I am about 45 minutes from Olympia. I had my surgery with Dr. Neal in Olympia at Pacific Surgical and Weight Loss Center. He is incredible. He has extremely positive reviews and credetials. It was great working with him and he office is like a family! Most of them are banded as well. Check out their site at Pacific Surgical

I got so tired of liquids too! I just had my first fill and had to go back to liquids for 2 days, it went fast though! Keep your chin up, it'll be over soon and you can move on to the next phase!
