Kidney Infection and Newly Banded

I was banded a week and a half ago. Saturday I started running fever. Monday I saw the doc, he ordered tests. Diagnosis: kidney infection.

Has anyone else out there in band land experienced a kidney infection post surgery (like within a week of surgery)? I won't hear from the culture until Monday so I don't know which bacteria has caused my problems.

I'm worried.
