I had a lapband put in in Vancouver BC. I had to have it repositioned 5 years later in Toronto Ontario because it was never on. Now it is causing me so much problems acid reflex, vomiting, sore stomach, difficulty swallowing food choking on my food. Does anybody no where I can have it removed Vancouver BC false creek doesn’t do it any more. Toronto clinic said they wouldn’t remove it, My doctor doesn’t know where I can go.

Well. I know someone who took a vacation to the US and all of a sudden his kidney acted up and he needed an emergency kidney which he finally received in the US. Even though he was on the list in Canada for many years. So much for socialized medicine. Lost touch with him but last I heard he an American citizen
