Anyone else have a bypass booked for July?

July 12, had Lapband out, gastric bypass done. On week 1 1/2 post op. Still in the liquid diet phase. One thing I didn’t know it the awful changes with body odor. It is hideous.

What exactly do you mean? You now have body odor??

Out of surgery 10 days, down 7 lbs (15 total in last month). Go my engagement ring / fit today. Hasn't fit in over 4 years!

Once your body goes into ketosis your body odor can change. Like your mouth can taste sweet all the time and cause you breath to smell bad. I’ve heard it will go away but idk. I’ve never had bad breath before but since I did the surgery I have. Lots of people complain about it in one of the groups I’m in on Facebook.

I’m in so many bariatric weight loss surgery groups on FB, but haven’t heard about this at all. Which group are you in that talks about this, if you don’t mind sharing?
