Well last night certainly wasn't as good as the first... Until the last guy!

Ya, you just can't make up stuff like that. That was hillarious in such an other wordly way. I have no idea which world because that guy was definitly mmm...shall we say unique???

My fav was the girl from Allentown Pa with the glitter covering 90% of her body. "and if I could legally moon ya, I would" but her a$$ was so skinny, it would not have been a proper moon anyway, just a pale sliver.

I have tried, really tried to watch AI, I just can't do it. (Last time I could make it through an entire episode was the one where Tamyra got voted off.

I can't stand that show.

But I think that might be because I'm not a "reality" TV fan, either.

I didn't watch it for a long, long time -- I'm not a fan of 'public humiliation as entertainment' -- BUT....I figure if you know by now what the potential is for being singled out and ridiculed, and you go on there anyhow, then you're buying into the game.

When I saw her I saidm "Great. Now the whole country is gonna think Allentown (the city/town I go to school in) is full of crazy people!" I mean she thought the song Allentown was by Bon Jovi! Cripes. Then the next day I found out she graduated from a high school in the same school district as the school I graduated in. I promise, we're not crazy here.

Another boring show. I guess tonight I'll be watching UFC Fight Night Live! (was going to anyways but now I won't regret missing AI)

I hate it when the judges say no and they stand there and argue with them. What do they think? They actually think they can change the judge's minds!

I've been watching AI since the first season. I love to sing so I thought a singing competition sounded like a great idea for reality TV. But I don't usually watch the audition rounds -- it's just too painful to me and I feel too embarrassed for people. So I usually wait until the top 24 or whatever and start watching from there. Even then, I DVR all of them so I can ff through the boring parts. But I enjoy the cheese factor. :D

I love AI, but this year I'm hooked on Biggest Loser.

AI usually switches it's night when the 24 are picked, right? :rolleyes2: If not I'll have to invest in DVR - again! I can't miss both!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
