Colectomy and Gastric Bypass Anyone has them?

I had colectomy for the whole colon and I got approve for bypass next month. I talk to my surgeon and he said YES of course $$$ for them. Anyways I want to know if anyone else had the same both procedure done and what are the drawbacks and complications. Thanks
