Online therapy for eating disorders

I have always been thinking about trying online therapy for emotional eating. Anybody have any experiences to share? Positive or negative. Like Cognitive behavioral therapy?

Thanks in advance.

Better Help and Talkspace both have counselors that specialize in eating disorders, primarily using CBT. Not counseling, but Overeaters Anonymous has a ton of online/virtual meeting options as well.

Does anyone know a good bariatric therapist anywhere in florida who may be willing to do telehealth appointments? I found one person so far and after two appointments I don’t feel like she is the right fit for me. Apparently they are few and far between in my area but I’m thinking post COVID maybe telehealth will work (someone said they have to be in the same state to bill insurance).

No personal experience, I opted for in-person therapy for my own needs, but I do know folks who have been very happy with the online options.
