I’m getting gastric bypass . My doctor just filled out my clearance form and turned it in today. My insurance is Cigna and from my research they’re pretty fast 😬 so I’m thinking August :)

I'm the 18th as well!

I'm very excited but also a bit nervous. Still going back and forth wether this is the right choice for me.

I know I'll probably never lose the weight without the surgery, but I'm afraid I'll fall back into old habits after having the surgery. Is anybody else having these doubt/concerns?

Yes, I’m worried about the same thing too. I have to remind myself that WLS is a strong tool. I’m having RNY and it will correct the hiatal hernia and GERD. The only way to get better is to go through.

I'm hoping for September for me, so I'll be right behind y'all, asking a ton of questions. (Hope you always wanted an annoying little sister! 🙂)

Of course!!! :-)

Yay! I'm nervous, too! But I keep telling myself the reward outweighs the risk. We got this!

Hey surgery twin! Yes, you said it! On the other side of "through" waits VICTORY!

How's everyone doing? I'm still fighting insurance company over plastics.
Many changes at work are coming up. It's very stressful but there are also some opportunities involved, both in regards to personal development and promotion.
