I was craving pizza and had some necessary ingredients in the kitchen. This is by no means “healthy” but it did satisfy the craving with much fewer calories.
1 low carb tortilla, 3 tbsp pizza sauce, a handful of shredded mozzarella (I like the tumaros tortillas)

This reminds me of when I was a few weeks post-surgery and on the pureed food stage of my diet. I was really craving pizza so I took some cheese, pizza sauce, pepperonis, and a low carb tortilla and put it in a magic bullet and blended it up. The texture was very weird but it actually didn't taste too bad. It definitely satisfied the craving.

@JMJames92 I am a big texture person when it comes to food, so I know I’ll struggle with purées. However, I’ve seen lots of recipes for a ricotta bake, which I imagine would give a similar flavor, so that is one recipe I plan to try out.

I completely understand that. There is a lot of food I won't eat because of texture. During the pureed stage I basically survived off of this Vanilla Custard recipe along with banana baby food. Me and my sister are weird and have eaten banana baby food our whole lives haha. It tastes really good!

That's a great idea. I'd totally incorporate that now lol

That ricotta bake is pretty darn good. In a pinch it would work with regular Pasta (maybe chicken pea pasta now) if out of lasagna noodles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
