This is more of a before and during, as I am not quite to goal. First pics were right before starting my pre-op diet in late June and the last pic is two days ago. Size 20-22 down to an 8 in less than seven months. Loving all of the energy I have now!

actually, you look great right now! I'm guessing at 5'8", you're pretty much at a normal BMI, too...

Thank you! Your results are spectacular! According to my smart scale app, my BMI is normal. If I did not lose another pound I would still be thrilled with my results, but there is just something about reaching my goal...I am not ready to quit pushing yet. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I am so happy with how I look and feel now. I am off of meds for diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. I am active. I like doing things again. Surgery was the best decision for me, and like so many others, my only regret is not doing it 5 years ago.😊😊

I am loving all of these before/after pictures! What amazing transformations. I think this is the first time I've seen before pics from @catwoman7 and @Arabesque. It's so motivating to see your success stories.

I like seeing them, too - I had this picture in my head of what Arabesque probably looked like - and it's great to see what she looks like for real!

These are such an inspiration. I'm 5 weeks out and have hit a stall, the scale did move some this morning, and I have been so discouraged. Every time I have lost weight in the past, I would stall after losing 20 lbs or so, and then gain 30. I love seeing the before and after pictures because I feel like with this tool, there is hope!! Thank you all for sharing.

These are a couple of my favorite before and afters 😊
Surgery was May 14, 2020
So I’m exactly 8 month out today!
Gastric bypass
Starting weight: 268
Current weight: 148
So that’s a total of 120 pounds gone! ❤️ I feel better than I’ve ever felt with have more self confidence and self worth! No regrets!
Congratulations on your surgery date!!! wishing you the best of luck!

Okay, I'll play along! I don't have a "before" pic that really represents how big I was, because I generally avoided being photographed back then. My before is from a chorus concert I did--and I will admit that I was wearing a "man girdle" at the time. (Cringe.)

I went from 250 to a low of 132 before bouncing back up to 142.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
