Hey all had the sleeve on 10/14, just got put on pureed and I am struggling to get it down. The food keeps getting stuck. Making me nauseous. Do I need to puree it longer? I switch to soft foods on Thursday and I am not sure I will be able to eat anything. I feel like I will live on cream Soup for the rest of my life lol.

I just blended up Soups of all kinds after my sleeve. Light clam Chowder, Turkey chili, Minestrone,, even some jambalaya. If it's totally liquefied it tastes great and does the job!

You may need to add more Water, milk, stock or whatever to what you’re pureeing. It should be pretty loose & sloppy. You can purée lots of things. It’s just trial & error as to what you’ll enjoy in regards to taste & texture. My friend told me she purée poached chicken thighs (breast is too coarse) with lots of gravy & stock. Unfortunately she told me on the last day of my purée stage. Sigh. I tried pureeing tinned fish but it was disgusting. I had good success with rolled oats & scrambled eggs.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
