I started my journey 3/13/19 with my first trip to UCSF to meet Dr. Stanley J. Rogers MD (I was 460 lbs.). After tons of tests, UCSF cancelling on me twice, two unnecessary trips to specialist five hours away and of course the whole Covid 19 thing. They set my date for the third time. After the two week pre-op I was down to 394 lbs. I finally had my surgery 6/5/20. 15 months after it all started and we will see how it goes from here.
