Constant heartburn

Hi! I'm about to be three months post op in a couple of days. Lately I wake up to heartburn pain and it'll last throughout the day. The pain is constant, but the level of pain varies during the day... Anyone else experienced this?

      it does happen to some sleeve patients - not the majority, but a sizable minority. Sorry that you're dealing with this - chronic heartburn is awful! Are you on a PPI, like omeprazole or pantoprazole

    That happened to me. Told my surgeon, and he put me on omeprazole. It's been helping.

    I was prescribed omeprazole by my doctor and it looks like it's going to be a "rest of my life" thing.
