Surgery date will not change on profile

Recommended Posts

For some reason, my profile will not allow me to correct my surgery date. Every time I try to correct it, it reverts to the date before the actual date I put in.

Mine is the same I accidentally put in a day early and when I change it it won’t persist. This is in app, haven’t tried to change it on the web version.

I had thought that I accidentally put mine in a day early too. But now that you say you’re experiencing the same thing, I don’t think the problem is us. I think the system is reverting it to a day earlier somehow.

Yup you’re right. I put mine as June 13 and it changed it to the 12th (my actual date). Thanks!

where do I go to add my surgery date? It shows me pre op. I have tried 20 times :(

Click on the down arrow next to your user name, then click my surgery

When I do get this to pull up it won't let me write on it. I'm about tired of it by now anyways. Thank you for trying.

This is exactly what mine looks like and I cannot change the information. Anyone have any suggestions?

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
