No Bowel Movement...

So its been a week and one day since my surgery and I haven't had any kind of bowel movement yet. I left a message with the surgeon but haven't heard anything back. I'm kind of freaking out. Is this normal?

i also didn’t have a bowel movement for over a week after surgery.

i now use fibogel or laxido if I haven’t had one in a few days- I also take a fibre jelly each day. Like a tablet thing!
