Wanted a fill. Doc said no. I'm HUNGRY

I've lost about 34 lbs since my surgery 6 weeks ago. I'm being very disciplined, but my hunger is killing me. Dr. said weight loss looks good, but I said "isnt this supposed to control hunger?" So they gave me a slight fill. What's the deal? I thought it was about controlling hunger, not sending you away cause you aren't snacking. If I wanted to use will power I would have tried another diet!!!

Same here with my doctor. my last fill will be about 2 months when i go in january for my 5th fill. i have been losing the required weight.

I agree, u need to call your dr. and let him know what's going on!!!

I was banded in August, but have not had a fill yet...my doctor says that since I have been losing steadily, I don't need one, but I do have times when I really feel hungry.

I am going for a visit on Tuesday. I am going to insist on a fill. It will be too hard to get through the holidays feeling hungry. I don't want to undo all that I have accomplished.
