Yes I have been taking them for years. Continued with them last year with my sleeve and now with my bypass as well.

Yes, I take them but I've had RNY.

Here's a cool article that came out on ABC: https://abcnews.go.com/Health/Healthday/story?id=8114829&page=1

Taking Probiotics may allow us to lose weight better following WLS.

Yes, for those that take it - what do you take? So many options!

I wish I could get someone to combine all the pills I'm supposed to take into one in the morning and one at night. I might need to use one of those pill packs or something lol

No, my surgeon told me to stay very far away from Tespo and vitamin patches. Thanks though!

I've been adding 1/4 C kefir to my Breakfast smoothies plus eat 1 C plain Greek yogurt daily, but am not currently taking any in pill form.

I love this! Also look into fermented veggies, especially Kim Chi! It's even better for building an awesome gut than sauerkraut!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
