Another Stall? Or is this it?

Recommended Posts

On the 19th of this month I will be 4 months post op. I only weigh myself once a week just so I won't become obsessed with the numbers but I did notice that my last few weigh ins have been the exact same weight. Pounds and ounces. Exactly the same. Is this yet another stall or at 4 months am I through losing? How is it possible to weigh exactly the same down to the ounces for weeks?

I'm 4.5 months post op myself and if I didn't exercise I'm fairly certain that my weight loss via restriction would be tapered off to maintenance mode at this point.

I noticed this to be the case when I stopped working out every day I hit a stall for 3 weeks. Once I started again working out every day, the scale started moving again, about 2 lbs a week counting my calorie limit of 1200/day.

Good Luck getting the scale moving again

Stalls are a part of the process, weekly weights are helpful but just let it go!!!! The scale will eventually come down if you stick to your plan.. Hope this helps!!!

Does anyone else find that if they don’t exercise the weight does not drop? Maybe it’s my metabolism but I am a very slow loser and I have noticed that if I do not incorporate some type of exercise into my routine, I barely lose anything regardless of how healthy I eat. I realize diet and exercise work together, I just think it’s interesting how the body works.

I would go 3 weeks without losing then drop over the course of a week to 10 days, hang in there !

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
