Today I went cheetah. I am thinking that this skirt may not be as flattering for my new figure as it was my old one. I may keep an eye out for a new basic black skirt. The sweater is probably supposed to be cropped on someone of normal height, but it hits perfectly on me. I do have a white tank top underneath, so that I don’t accidentally flash anyone.

Thank you! It's difficult for me to look at the side image. The tighter jeans show how pouchy my fold-over tummy flap is and how it sticks out like a belleh. The bigger pants don't make the stick out pooch quite so noticeable...but they make me overall look bigger. You know? All magic has a price. LOL. Smaller pants = more thigh compression and smaller looking legs with a tiny bit of thigh gap = tight tummy = poochy belleh. hahahaha

But look at your BUTT!!

Are those butt-lift jeans, or have you been hiding one of your best assets all this time???

No. They are very tight and stretchy though. I will try to remember to take a pic of the tag later. They do really lift my saggy bottom up though! LOL.

You all are looking fabulous. I jumped on the jean jacket band wagon. My old one was to big. So I just got my new one delivered last night. It’s a small, a little big, but will work great with sweaters. Have a great day everyone.

Loving all the jean jackets. Look what you started @Cheeseburgh! We even styled ours the same way @KaysMommy

@FluffyChix I get the tummy trade off, but IMO it's worth it, and IME I feel thinner overall in fitted vs loose clothing. Also, faux Spanx are good for the tummy & the butt! Love the bell sleeves & the mules

@AngieBear Still digging the neutrals. Cute loafers!

@ms.sss I've always wanted Hunter rain boots. I can't justify them, endless drought + limited closet space. :( I suspect I'll be online drunk shopping one day, and they'll be at my door soon after 🤣

@GreenTealael great, now I've added a jean jumpsuit to my must haves. All your fault!

@sillykitty I’m making an Old Navy run today, I bought a few things online to pick up there because of the way they structure their sales. Yesterday I had to purchase online to get a 30% discount, not valid in stores.

I might accidentally run into the houndstooth jacket/blazer you have. I’ve been eyeing that for a month. I forgot to buy it yesterday!

my house is getting a makeover this weekend. We’re getting the first floor painted and I’ve never stressed about color more in my life. I swear I’m dreaming about Benjamin Moore. I hope I picked the right color.

Fashion question:

I’m in all boring dark today apparently! Anyway, my question is about my necklace. Is this something to be worn with a super casual outfit like this, or should it be worn with a more purposeful outfit?

i forgot to attach picture...

@Cheeseburgh I get what you're saying. I don't accessorize a lot, so if I do it feels like "dressing up". That said, I think it looks great with that outfit. Looks totally normal for errand running etc.

This tunic is one of the few holdovers I have from pre WLS

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
