Happy Friday Eve Everyone,
Day 4 of the liquid Diet
I made it through another day of Protein Shakes and water[emoji20]
I would love to get a hold of some chicken or beef broth....Wait I wouldn't turn down veggie broth either..............
But I can't have that until Sunday (Clear Diet day)... I've been checking out a few websites like Amazon and here on Bariatric Pal, for food items geared for special folks like us. I will probably make a purchase of some of the Soup items, so I can have some variety after the next few weeks.
I have noticed that my sandals are a bit loose from last year. I guess with will power and determination, the whole WLS thing will come together. And then I can submit my before and after pictures like everyone else.
Anywho............Keep the faith everyone.....We CAN and WILL do this JuneBunch
btw, I got on the scale today and I am finally at (drumroll.........) 219[emoji44]
Alright, I know it may not in Onederland, but I will take it. Even though the doctor's scales have a 5-10 pound variance, I will take the 219. Ain't seen 219 since 2008. [emoji5]
Come on June 3rd.
I wish you the best today! Please check in when you can.

So my check in time is in 30 minutes and my parents who are supposed to give me a ride forgot. My husband called and it seemed like they were still in bed. My husband can't drive. I am freaking out because I am going to be late now.

You need a Large Slingshot to get you there! Do you suppose you should call them, tell them you still are wanting it but are going to be slightly delayed? Praying 🙏things will still work out for TODAY!

My mom thought my surgery was 6/6. My dad got me to the hospital though. Sitting here in a gown waiting. Surgery in 45 minutes

Can't wait to hear how everyone who had surgery today is doing! Who is up next? Anyone else going this week? It is hard to go through 34 pages and figure it out at this point. :)

I have my pre-op anesthesia appointment on Monday the 10th and a pre-op nurse consult on Thursday the 13th. then that's it...I'm in surgery at 7:30am on Monday the 17th!

I'm finding it hard to concentrate at work right now because I'm getting anxious. Thank goodness I don't have to do a two week liquid diet on top of all of the activities I have going on at work and home this week!

Welcome! June is the best group. Just sayin.
I talked to admissions today because I got a z pack this morning for my throat. She said I should still plan on being there. As of now I go in at 9am tomorrow for 11:15 showtime. chicken or beef broth as my last meal? Maybe a couple popsicles. LOL. I was laughing at one of my last splurges at Olive Garden with a friend. I felt like I was eating like I was headed to the chair. LMAO

I think I’m next. I’m scheduled to arrive at the hospital at 530 in the morning and my surgery is at 730. I had to do the 2 week liquid diet and all Clear Liquids today. My nerves are so bad right now.

I'm going Wednesday. I want to be done already. Work is dragging on because I'm anxious.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
