Are you talking the pure liquid immediately after surgery or pureed a few days/week after? I have had so little appetite, it has been easy for me to stick to yogurt, cottage cheese, and a little mashed potato.

Ahh I had protein shakes, sugar free popsicles, and pho broth. I like blending my protein shakes with ice and they feel like a frappucino!

Did your surgeon give you a list of items you could have at this stage? I’ve learned from being on here that our pre op and post op diets vary greatly from person to person. I was on clear liquids for one week post op which meant I couldn’t do shakes, only protein water. Sugar free drinks, thin broths with no chunks, sugar free popsicles and jello, decaf coffee. Then I was on Full Liquid for another week.

After 1-2 days post op clear, then liquid (apple sauce, soups puréed, cottage cheese, etc...)

I found an unflavoured protein powder to add to my soup which has no sweetener in it either.

Just like a variety but so far I’m happy considering this is 2 weeks... after that purée, then soft foods
