What holster are you using for your C.H.? I just applied for my license here in TX and should have it in a couple weeks. I am going to carry a compact 9mm. I was just worried about finding a holster that would work practically for a large guy. Where do you usually conceal?

This is the last topic I thought I would find here on LBT! Glad you brought it up!

Sorry it took so long for the response. I was out of state for a week. I just used a basic belt holster that was nothing special. Wore long enough shirts to cover it. I carried my 1911 45cal. I resigned from law enforcement and moved to Florida and am now in the process of getting my permit down here. I can't wait I miss carrying . :nervous

The surprise photo seems to be helping me a bit. This was taken today by someone else, and when I first looked at it I didn't even realize that was me in the pic. Obviously I still have the fat-boy-garish-shirt issue to work through, but that guy in the photo almost looks like a normal dude.

Sorry for the huge size, this machine doesn't seem to have any photo edit software on it. Will fix it later

Man... Which one of those is you car??? Does yours have one of those little black ponies on a yellow background??? They tend to be a bit of a Zippy little car!:P:car::P:car::purplebananna::car::bananajump::car::Banane20::car:

Chris NJ,

Your weight loss ticker is awsome - how did you loose so much weight since May??

I was banded on 10-25-07 and have only lost 30lbs since then. Overall 55lbs, I lost 25 on my own before the surgery.

Thanks ! Your doing great yourself. Just follow the band rules. Eat healthy and exercise and it will come off quick. It has slowed down a bit for me but still coming off. I guess the less you need to lose the slower it will come off. I will be posting new pics soon to show progress.

Just after my first week, I have already STOPPED, going to the closet, grabbing a t-shirt ( 3 or 4 xl), putting my arms through the sleeves, STRETCHING it wider, then putting it on.

Cheers

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
