Motivate Me

I am preband...I am seeing a nutritionist...and am changing my eating habits. I am NOT changing my physical habits. I know that I need to...I'm just unmotivated.

I have lost 11 pounds since my first consultation...and I know that I would lose so much more if I added the physical part in.

I make excuses...you know...the no time excuse.

Help me....what can I do...at home...that will get me moving???

I think they key is finding something that you like to do. Something that you consider fun. Now, I just hate working out at home, but when I watch TV, I lift dumbells or do some floor exercise with a tension band. I also walk/jog at home.

I really prefer going to the gym and taking classes, that's what works for me and it motivates me. I go everyday. It's a habit and I love it. We have so much fun and its amazing how your body feels. I feel so good after I work out (endorphins released). You can do it..no more excuses. The "time" excuse is so worn out, I used to have that one perfected ;)

Have you lost 24 pounds in 2.5 months? If so that is awesome and above the 1-2 lb a week to be expected. Be patient with yourself-This is not a quick fix but a permanent fix. Congrats on the lbs lost!

Thank You -

I'm one of those instant gratification persons, and I have to talk myself daily off of that tree. The weight is really starting to come off after my third fill, and I'm working out like a crazy woman. I've always hated the gym, but now I can't wait to get there each day.

Thanks all for the kick when needed, Happy NYR!!!
