Pre Op Journey-Schedule Date Nov 8th

Good Morning All,

I wanted to stop by and give an update. I am halfway through my 2 week liquid diet. My surgery is scheduled for Next Thursday the 8th. Just some things i noticed during the last week that has helped and just wanted to share.

I would totally recommend keeping a journal of how each day goes and keeping track of what you are consuming daily. ( Doing this- also notate BM's as i have heard constipation will set in-so you can track if you need medicine before it gets too far)

I would also recommend using the broth as your lunch and dinner along with a shake a little while later. This has helped me tremendously with sanity and keeping me from feeling off whack with an eating schedule.

I did get Protein2o and have substituted one shake a day with the water. This I find keeps me from having to drink too many shakes and makes my days more of a normal schedule. One of the other things i have done is I have been using the Caramel Premier Protein shake ( while all the others are slimfast per Dr Recommendations before surgery then Premier after) as a creamer for my coffee. I do drink decaf ( I started that about a month before pre op diet) and i drink a few a day but with the protein shake and liquid sugar free caramel flavor ( something i have done for years).

These things have helped my days be as normal as possible without being hungry. 7 more days to go till Surgery! I am super excited.
