Anyone in Michigan with BCN insurance? Just wondering the approval process? Once doctors submit paperwork, how long did it take?

My husband had BCN of MI when he had his sleeve done. I believe he had to do a 3 month supervised diet and once all of his requirements were done they submitted everything and he got the approval within a week. It was a pretty smooth process. This was about 3 years ago, so I am not sure how much it has changed. Good luck!
