Hey everyone,
Here is my situation. I got a fill a few days ago and haven't really noticed any change in restriction. The nurse used a 1.5 inch Huber needle and when she pulled out the "old fluid" it was a light brown in color and there was 1cc there which is a little less than the 1.6cc they put in 3 weeks ago:glasses. The Fluid they put in at my last fill was normal clear saline. Do you think it is possible the needle was too short and that she didn't get into my port? Or do you think there is something else wrong that would change the color of the fluid like maybe bleeding or infection? The nurse said it was not a problem but she is fairly new to the doctor's office, and I am not sure she really knows. Please post with your thoughts as I find this all to be a little strange.
Thanks!!:guess
