A couple of questions regarding United Healthcare

Recommended Posts

Hi all! If you have United Healthcare I was wondering if you could tell me a few things. My first question is, did you have to go through a supervised diet before they would approve you? And my second question is, how long did it take you to get your approval?

I'm very anxious about my consultation coming up on Dec. 3rd, i'm just so ready to get this ball rolling so I can KNOW, I'm not good at being patient...lol. I've talked to the customer service people at UHC several times and have never got a straight answer to the supervised diet question, one person said it wasn't likely, one person said he's never seen a person have do one, and one person said it's case by case, and then someone else that doesn't work for UHC said they don't make you do one. How did it go for YOU??? :P

Thanks!

HI

I have UHC choice plus they don't require any type of diet plan, I have heard that UHC is the easiest to get approved I submitted my paperwork on 11/6/2007 waiting to be approved, all I needed was 5 year weight history and a BMI of 40 that's it good luck with everything

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
