I’ve been doing tattoos. Ever since i was 4 years old I’ve loved tattoos. I had a few done before surgery but never felt like I was pretty enough or worth the time and money to get beautiful art done on such a hideous body. Now post op, I’ve been going and having pieces done a that I’ve wanted for years.

I decided to get a second set of ear piercings once I am under 200 lbs! I always wanted to but never felt myself worth the money and effort. Almost there!

Once I'm under 200, I'm getting another tattoo and once I'm under 150 I'm getting a king sized mattress

I haven't even had my surgery scheduled yet, but I have thought about this.

Being as I expect to have to buy a new wardrobe anyway, I am planing on treating myself to having my "colours done" - you know, you meet with a consultant and they tell you what colours you should be wearing on your body and next to your face during the different seasons, what make up shades you should wear, and jewellery colours.

I'm a very pale green-eyed redhead but with ruddiness in my face due to rosacea. I'm in the fat-trap of wearing black and I know it's not doing much for me. Of course I gravitate towards greens, but I would really like to have a whole seasonal colour palette laid out for me. My best friend had it done, and it took years off her instantly.

So good a little gold or bronze helps with a ruddy completion. Too many people go ashy and it makes you’re skin more red. I’m a redhead as well 3 generations of every shade of red you can imagine. Enjoy getting your colors done.

My guess, an autumn because of your rosacea, other wise you would be a spring, I'm, to get exact A May basically spring but can wear Some of the summer palate. So what am I wearing now? A gray sweatsuit, and I know that isn't my shade.

I have a charm Bracelet (in the Pandora style, but it isn't Pandora-branded) that I'm adding a charm to, every time I lose 10 pounds.

I went this route too, but with Alex & Ani bracelets. I am doing one every 25 lbs!

Ugh I find non food rewards really hard to do! I am so used to just buying things and doing things when I want, not keeping it as a special reward.

My next milestone: less than 220 lbs means a double-digit weight in kilograms (I know, I'm a nerd). That will be a pedicure. Next milestone after that: 216, which will be halfway to my goal. Not sure what my reward will be for that. And then the big Onederland milestone. Might try to get out of town for a weekend with the hubby when I get there!

Update: I've reached my first milestone - 218 today (or 99 kg!!)! Pedicure time this Friday!!

Good morning all! Today I experienced my first non food reward since being on this journey! I got a custom full body massage and IP resort and spa in Biloxi today!! It was amazing I have never done anything like that for myself before! I will do again!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
