Nah, when it's the wrong person, better to kick them to the curb early!

This is why I LOVE y'all. No matter how screwed up I may be, it's never gonna be my fault.😂😂😂😂😂

Lol

Hey, if they can't love the whole you, faults and all, they're not the one. Just telling the truth!

And not very well since one of my incisions is still open. Maybe some tequila would sterilize/cauterize it? Nurse told me today I can try pouring peroxide into it to dry it out

This information has been out for quite a few years.....using hydrogen peroxide actually damages the tissue and delays the healing so I would advise against it. Sorry but I figured you would want to know...nurse Ratched always on duty🤣🤣

Maybe they just want to shut me up. Apparently, to medical personnel, having a hole in you really isn't a big deal. But, I can testify, to an accountant, it's downright freaky!

That's why I loved this Domoboro solution.

https://www.riteaid.com/shop/domeboro-astringent-solution-powder-packets-12-packets-0032405?ra_group=gPLA30pct16&gclid=Cj0KCQiA3b3gBRDAARIsAL6D-N9udX34nGJkEZYscVJ0kJ2p8zgqPg17s3ejsxRmt9FIeXZOnHXY0FkaAkt5EALw_wcB

It promotes healing from the inside out. My radiation ulcer was about 1/2inch deep and about 2 inches wide. And the radiologist who prescribed this said that by using this according to the instructions that it would actually help it heal.

((hugs)) Sorry you're having to deal with this. IT would be scary larry to me too! :(

Well, hello, everyone on this thread is pretty close to perfect. If something goes wrong, it's clearly not our fault! :P

Awfully quiet in here ....

@FluffyChix How was the fast? How were the tests?

I've been swamped with work, ugh! I'm traveling again this week today, and then most of next week. It's this kinda sh*t that kept me from my ps this fall! :( Don't people know it's supposed to be quiet between mid November to mid January??

But in good news. So far so good on the eat whatever the h*ll I want, but skip Breakfast and call it IF plan. I was down to a new low of 139.4 yesterday, and up to 140 this morning. I will totally take that!

On the dating topic .... I did something a out of character, and it paid off. Last week not a boyfriend and I were discussing when we would get together, schedules, etc. He mentioned he had an Xmas party, wasn't sure if he was going to go, how to fit it all in with seeing me. I uncharacteristically told him, that I'd love to go to the party with him. He said that was a good idea, but was noncommittal. The next morning, I mentioned again I'd like to go with him, and he said great, let's go, I'll RSVP today. So we went, had a great time, and he thanked ME for going with him. I always try hard to not be too pushy, overstep boundaries etc. So I definitely went out on a limb, telling him twice that I wanted to go. I think I get too much in my head about how I want to be perceived. It's nice to be able to be myself. :)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
