43 and sleeved May 7. Down 117 lbs from my high point in January and about 80 lbs since surgery. Only regret is not considering this as an option sooner. Still a little more to my goal, but the journey has been well worth it.

I'm 41 and hopefully getting sleeved in December. After having such a bad experience with the lap band I was scared to even consider another WL procedure. I feel like its now or never but, I do wish I had done it years ago.

Well, my surgery was cancelled, I am hoping just postponed... Ugh sometimes I hate life...

Mine was just pulled too thanks to a bureaucratic stuff up. Was to have been in October but because some clerk didn’t get me in to see the head I am now likely to have to wait another 4-5 months. So annoyed right now.

Mine was temporarily canceled due to the fact that the size of the hernia that is making it a to high of risk that they wont be able to get the rest of my organs inside my abdominal muscle. I have to lose 40 more on top of the 26 I have lost, then be put on a month long clear liquid before I can have the surgery. By then I will be down 70 pounds and really won't have too much more to lose.. ugh so it's looking like next year sometime for me...sigh...

That's gotta be frustrating. Better to be as healthy as possible prior to going under the knife though. Best to you, and hopefully the time goes by quickly for you.

I was sleeved on 8/30 & also wishing it was faster. I am only down 14 lbs since surgery & 27 since starting the process. This past week the scale hasn’t moved. It’s a marathon so I am in for the long stretch & determined to get over this hump

I'm 45, 44 at surgery. I had my surgery a year ago tomorrow and yes wish I had done it 10 years ago. The change in my life is just simple amazing. I met my Dr's goal weight at the beginning of June (150lbs). I will admit I've done zero with following anything other than maintaining that goal for 3.5 months. Now I'm back at it because I've adjusted my own goal by 5 lbs. I'm applying all the things I've learned and the weight is falling off again. I have no doubt I'll meet my new goal. But health wise, I feel amazing, I feel 10 years younger. I love how I can buy cute cute clothes now and they fit like a dream. I have energy. Other than occasional heartburn, I have zero issues.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
