Okay that’s it. Our friendship is over. How can you not like Tomato based Soups? ?? 😱 I love all Soups as you know but my favourite Soup since a child has been Tomato. Tomato with lentils, with white Beans, using fresh, roasted, or tinned tomatoes, … I’d very happily eat A’s minestrone except for the Pasta of course. Mmm now I might make a pastaless minestrone this week (though is it still minestrone without Pasta? ?)

😁😁😁

Oh yup. Same. I second that!!
I agree w MS.sss

i dunno!?!

other than bolognese (which really is only second best to white cream sauces!) and the THIN layer of Tomato sauce on pizzas, i find warm Tomato preparations gag-ish lol.

i too love me a nice bowl of Soup, but i lean towards clear-ish broths/consommés/stocks. i also love cream Soups but im lactose-intolerant so i dont eat as much as i would like to, ha!

i can enjoy a nice bowl of gazpacho though!

so we can still be friends!! 😂😂

p.s. further to my tomato quirk, i prefer my salsa on the side when eating nachos, cuz salsa on TOP of nachos get warm 🤢. same goes for tomato slices on burgers, diced tomatoes in tacos, etc....

Okay, we can be still be friends but only because you like gazpacho. 🤣

I’m sort of that way with strawberries. Fresh strawberries yum including on a Victoria sponge or in fruit salad but strawberry flavoured things like yoghurt, ice cream, milk shakes, cheesecake, jam, etc. nope can’t do it. Even if they have chunks of strawberry in it it’s still no. Blah!

I am with ms.sss there, detest tomato soups. The smell makes me barf. Like you I find pasta way too dense and stodgy but tiny Orzo in soup is a great addition that I can manage in small amounts.

There are sweet biscuits in my pantry 😱. First time in four years. My five younger nieces & nephew (almost 6-13) are having a sleepover this weekend so I bought the biscuits as an afternoon snack. Can’t expect them to eat my Snacks - lol! Though I did buy frozen edamame we could also share … if they like it. 😁

Supermarket brand: 82 calories & 1g of Protein. They’ll be taking them home on Sunday if there are any left (probably won’t be).

I love egg salad. I don't make it though. I always end up murdering the eggs when I shell them and all I'm left with are the egg yokes.

I feel like there’s a trick to remove the shells easily. Does anyone know?

OMG that pumpkin **** latte has 50g of sugar 😱 That’s double the daily recommended intake of sugar for an adult. It’s funny how that is so horrifying now but before it wouldn’t even have been a consideration.

What actually is in pumpkin spice? We don’t have it here. Is it just cinnamon & nutmeg?

The trick to eggs- baking soda in the Water. And then ice bath right away after cooking. Also, I use an egg cooker so I poke a tiny hole in each egg before cooking it. I don’t cook boil them anymore and that seems to help.

Veggie fried rice, rice with furikake, and inarizushi (I also ate one full sushi and 2 of the pouches without the rice in them while making them).

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
