@ALFxRNY Im glad to hear you feel so well! Moving in the right direction, thats what matters!

It’s amazing how great I feel! My knees no longer hurt. I’m not out of breath, tired, or achy after walking. I feel like a new person honestly!

6 weeks post-op today!

I can’t believe how quickly 6 weeks went by. I cannot say that I’m truly happy with my progress. Due to hormones, stress, and everything else my body is just fighting me and not losing at all. If it weren’t for how great I feel, I’d probably have all of the regrets. I do notice slight changes in my body. Everything is looser, my boobs and thighs are shrinking, my tummy is super jiggly (but not smaller). All I can do is keep on pushing through this stall and hoping for the best!
How much have you lost so far?

I’m supposed to be on pureed foods but I’ve realized that I can’t handle it yet. So instead I bought a lot of juices and I’m happy with them. Im starting to honestly feel like I won’t ever be able to move on from liquids. Is this normal? Im about to complete three weeks post op tmw and enter my fourth.

Totally connect with how you’re feeling, though I still have another week and a half of liquids left. I went nuts with sampler packs of Protein flavors, Soups, and the skinny mixes zero calorie flavors so I have tons of variety and interesting things to drink. I figure that eventually we’ll get there but it’s okay if it takes me/us longer than planned! I love millie’s sipping broths, just tried the spicy tortilla! Yum!

It makes me feel much better to know I’m not alone. I’m happy I’ve found a lot of juices that make me happy. They’re all fresh too so they taste super good. Thanks for the empathy! <3

Congratulations guys on your upcoming surgery!! I start soft foods on Monday. I thought I would give it an early try and had some chili from Wendy's. I pureed it and my stomach has accepted it with ease. I am tired of liquids!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
